Recently we encountered with
number of cases when job seekers applied for job by using a fake SPM and degree
certificates. Even though a thorough check has been done during our initial
screening with them, it was really shocking when our client unable to proceed
with their application due the above-mentioned reason.

According to Datuk Shamsuddin Bardan, the Executive Director of Malaysian Employers Federation, “Employees risk being fired if they submit fake degrees. If an employee is found guilty of faking degree to gain employment or promotion, the normal punishment is dismissal as such an offence is considered a serious misconduct” – The Star, Friday, 8th February 2019
He also added that in the
professional sphere, faking a degree is usually done by an employee who is trying
to impress his or her employer or potential employers.
All jobseekers are obligated to provide a genuine information and documentation to their potential employer when applying for any kind of job position. No matter how good you are, but your integrity were in a deep, you are actually jeopardizing your own career.
