How to Reply Emails from your Recruiters?

This topic is very interesting. If you are in a professional business environment, receiving, replying and forwarding email is a very common practice. In this article, I would like to share about how you can respond the emails that you received from your recruiters?

Normally, I will send emails to my candidates for sharing about job opening, updates or maybe to follow up matters from them. I, myself will spend around 30 minutes or less to draft a good email before sending it because I need to ensure that my receiver will understand the email content properly. But sadly, the email receivers normally just reply it in 3 words or even worst they just reply it with only a file attachment without any introduction, greetings, proper contents or maybe a simple "thank you" as a closing.

Case Study

Based on the example above, this responder just attached his/her resume without any text reply to mention that he/she interested to apply for the job, or maybe a short thank you for the opportunity given.

That is not the only one respond that I received. Out from 14 email replied that I received, 10 of those replies did as above example.

I cannot say that, they are fresh graduates and we should give excuses if this thing happen. But for me, once you are graduated, you are one step ahead into professional world and simple thing like responding email in proper way is one of the method for you to show to your professionalism and intelligence to your future employer.

How to Respond in a Proper Way?

So guy & girls, if you received any emails from your future employer, reply to them properly in order to show your professionalism and dignity as an intelligent graduate. So, if you receive an email like above example, you probably can reply as below.

Dear Mr. Danial,

Thanks for your recent email about an opportunity for a Business Development Executive at Company A. I would very much like to apply for this role.  Could you please let me know when it would be convenient to see you and discuss more about this position.

I look forward to meeting you

Best wishes
